  2. Reporting Out Points Pay/Salary Increases: Staff – Pending Board Approval Faculty – Pending Board Approval Union/Bargaining – N/A Staff Council President and Vice President attend and participate in Joint Salary and Benefits Committee along with 4 additional staff representatives.

  3. Reporting Out Points Change in Benefits Program: Health Insurance premiums and deductibles is going to increase as of January 2015. Staff Council President and Vice President attend and participate in Joint Salary and Benefits Committee along with 4 additional staff representatives.

  4. Reporting Out Points Layoffs/Terminations/Furloughs LCCC is currently under going a Transitions process. Academic Division Reorganization Service Delivery Hours Administration, Staff, Staff Council, Faculty and Faculty Senate participated in a Transformation process which outlined possible change for the future of LCCC.

  5. Reporting Out Points Miscellaneous issues such as Parking, University Councils, Tuition Rates, etc. Tuition Rate Changes: Summer 2013 Summer 2014 Widening of Abbe Road to support more students traveling to campus As a result of Transformations we will be introducing a parking fee. Staff Council President attend and participate in Operations Council.

  6. Committee Accomplishments 2013-14 1. Staff Event at Crushers Stadium (Staff Morale) 2. Implemented a Staff Council Logo ( ) 3. Representatives have apparel with logo 4. Invite staff members to Staff Council meetings 5. Completion Pledge Sponsors for Student Success 6. Donated to 3 charities: Friendship Animal Protective League, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Autism Speaks 7. Sponsor part of Staff Development Days 8. Star12 Webinar Training for efficiency 9. Representatives held a team building outing 10. Hosted Fall OSCHE meeting Mission Statement: The Mission of Lorain County Community College's Staff Council Executive Committee is to help create a positive work environment for all full and part-time staff that promotes leadership, encourages professional and personal development, and increases staff morale and involvement. Goals 2013-2014 • Monthly email inviting members to SCEC Meetings • Increase Staff Council Awareness on Campus • Create a Financial Report • Create and Maintain Staff Council Calendar on Intranet
