  2. Chandragupta Maurya • Chandragupta Maurya was a powerful ruler he ruled 321-298 b.c.

  3. Emperor Asoka • In the early years of his region, Asoka was a powerful military ruler. He reigned 273-232 b.c.

  4. Last Mauryan • The Last Mauryan started ruling in 183 b.c. and was killed the same year by one of his own general.

  5. Princes • India’s Prices fought over their land for centuries.

  6. Persian Empire • Made in 500 b.c. by the Persians in Indus valley.

  7. Gupta Empire • Gupta Empire started in 319 a.d. made with Chandragupta, he managed to unite all of Northern India into the Gupta Empire.

  8. Government • Their government started in 300 b.c. when some kings started forming larger empire’s

  9. Aryan Invasion • In 500 b.c. India was invaded by Indo-Europeans which are Aryan.

  10. Alexander • Alexander invaded India in 321 b.c. he was only able to invade Northern India but he was not able to stay long because his army got homesick.

  11. Elephant Army • Greek tried to take over Northern India were Alexander failed to take over. They came back with over 9,000 war elaphants.
