Update on SDO Status: Integration, Development, and Timeline for Launch

The current status of the SDO (Solar Dynamics Observatory) reveals significant progress in integration, hardware orders, and development timelines. HMI, AIA, and EVE systems are fully integrated onto SDO, with the CPT process underway. Key milestones include delivery to KSC in August, readiness for launch by December this year, and a likely launch in January 2009. Development continues at JSOC, with new hardware expected to start operating by April. While DRMS/SUMS are nearing completion, export tools are slightly behind schedule. Level-0 completion is imminent, with Level-1 and Level-2 modules in progress.
