SHORT TERM GOALS To see that students understand and complete text books within the stipulated time.
The BLOOM’S TAXONOMY There is more than one type of learning. A committee of colleges, led by Benjamin Bloom (1956), identified three domains of educational activities: • Cognitive: mental skills (Knowledge) • Affective: growth in feelings or emotional areas (Attitude) • Psychomotor: manual or physical skills (Skills)
STRATEGIES AND TASKS Brain storming of students to make them ready to study : • Quizzes • Verbal Discussions and Debates Improving the performance and generating overall interest : • Group Activities • Making effective use of the internet Enhancing the confidence of students: • Acknowledging and rewarding students performance
