In August 2012, our IPA participated in defining an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and presented an overview of the Accountable Healthcare Alliance (AHA). We explored the significance of accountability, performance improvement, and patient-centered medical homes in fostering organizational development. Our discussion highlighted key lessons learned from hospitals, the application process, and ongoing efforts toward value creation. This event served as an insightful forum for industry leaders to understand the elements that contribute to successful value-based healthcare.
