  1. Volcanoes!! By: Chisom .I And KIANA .F

  2. Introduction • Kiana and I (Chisom) picked volcanoes because we know lots about volcanoes and we both love when the volcanoes erupt because we feel the tingle and we just wanted to try it on our own.

  3. Problem • Our problem is “What are the causes/forces that makes a volcano erupt when it does erupt and how protect ourselves from the volcanic ash.

  4. Hypothesis • The hypothesis to the first question was the buoyancy and the pressure of the gases within the earth’s crust causing the volcano to erupt. So, the whole reason was that the pressure and the buoyancy was preventing the volcano to explode and damage the land.

  5. Iceland’s Volcano • A tragic volcano erupted in Iceland. Scientists think that because of Iceland’s 18 out of 130 volcanic eruptions, maybe it started recently again. People in Iceland had to go to other places to survive. After the eruption, the country was damaged, the houses were ruined, and the people were terrified.

  6. Different Types of Volcanoes

  7. What about the people with asthma?? • When a volcano hits, the ashes release into mid air. People wonder… do people with asthma get hurt or do they faint? The volcanic ash is dangerous for the human body. It can damage your heart rate and etc.

  8. Conclusion • We learned in this project that the volcanoes can hurt you and your home. So, just BE CAREFUL and always remember to never inhale this volcanic ash or else you get HURT or maybe worse (cough*DIE*).
