  1. TRAIN TO REIGN! UNLOCKING THE LANGUAGE OF YOUR DREAMS! What is the symbolic meaning of my dream or vision!

  2. [Job 33:14-16]... “For God may speak in one way, or in another, Yet man does not perceive it.In a dream, in a vision of the night, When deep sleep falls upon men, While slumbering on their beds, Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction."

  3. The Difference Between Dreams and Visions: • Dreams originate or touch/affect your soul, your emotions and your thoughts • Visions are deeper manifestations which are conceived within your spirit

  4. Words For Vision Used in Scripture: • “Chazown” means mental sight, to dream/have a revelation [Daniel 1:17] • “Chevez” means sight/vision [Daniel 2:19] • “Mar’ah” means seeing a reflection in a mirror [Daniel 10:7-8] • “Mar’eh” means sight/appearance [Daniel 10:1]

  5. All visions and dreams will contain symbols and pictures • Sometimes they will contain specific colours that will need to be interpreted

  6. Sometimes dreams are repeated for emphasis or because God is wanting to get your attention • For example, Samuel heard God call his name again and again • Dreams cover so many different areas of our lives. It is important to correctly discern the subject of the dream

  7. When interpreting symbols, it’s important to remember that every symbol can have two meanings. • There can be a positive and a negative meaning. • It is important to look at the primary purpose of the symbol – what it is known for, perhaps what your experience of it has been in your own life.

  8. E.G. • Elephants are known for their strength • Foxes are cunning • Lambs are defenceless • Sharks are dangerous • Flies are unclean • Snails are slow • Cats are predators

  9. Rats carry plagues • Moths corrupt • Dogs bite • Scorpions sting • Police/Military speak about authority/power • Doctors represent healing • Professor/teacher represents knowledge

  10. A tradesperson e.g. Mechanic/technician is someone who fixes something. Symbolic of an area in our lives that needs to be repaired • A pastor sometimes represents Christ because the pastor is used by God to bring His Word • Grandparents often represent the past • Mothers sometimes represent our “source”
