  5. Continuous Historical An unbroken prophetical outline of history from: BABYLON – “Thou art this head of Gold… To CHRIST’S RETURN – “Thou sawest until a Stone…” NO GAPS!!!!!

  6. Keys to Understanding Bible Prophecy That we learn from Daniel 2! • ALL parts of the Image destroyed together • ¾ of the Image has ruled over Assyria – cp. Dan 7:4 with Ezra 4:5, 5:13, 6:22 • The Image represents the Gogian Dominion • The toes are 10 Kings – cp. Dan 7:23-24

  7. Nebuchadnezzar’s Image =Nations Under King of the North “It is impossible that Nebuchadnezzar's image can represent any other imperial confederacy of nations than that under the King of the North in the time of the end.” Brother John Thomas, Exposition of Daniel, p. 88

  8. Ezekiel’s List of Gog’s Army “The names given in Ezekiel's list of Gog's army, are representative of the countries known to have existed under the dynastic rule of the gold, the silver, the brass and the iron.” Exposition of Daniel, p. 88

  9. Ezekiel’s List of Gog’s Army Gogue’s [Dominion] will include so much of the territory as to entitle his dominion to be represented by Nebuchadnezzar’s Image. Elpis Israel pages 449-450. Logos ed.

  10. Ezekiel 38

  11. Tubal: A nomadic tribe associated with the scythians. Along with Meshech, its name is preserved in the city later founded by its desendants.

  12. Persia: Easily identifiable as Iran

  13. Libya: A tribe of Africa

  14. Cush: Genesis 2:13, 10:6-8; Isaiah 18:1; Judges 3:8 Khusitan

  15. Brother Thomas on the Role of Iraq The reader must bear in mind, that there are two separate and distinct regions known in Scripture by the name of Cush; the one, in Asia and now called Cushistan: the other, in Africa, styled Abyssinia and Ethiopia. Eureka vol. 5, page 249 As the Gog of the land of Magog, the Autocrat of nations will be prepared to marshal under his banner the forces of Persia, Cushistan, Phut, Gomer, and Togarmah of the north quarters, in addition to those of his hereditary domain of "all the Russias". Eureka vol.5, page 255

  16. Gomer: The progenitors of the Celtic peoples, who settled large tracts of Central and Western Europe, particularly France.

  17. Sheba and Dedan

  18. Britannia: “The Land of Tin” Ezekiel 27:12-13

  19. Unwalled Villages – Without Walls – No Bars! No Gates And this their expectation will not be deceived; for, before Gogue invades their country, it is described by the prophet, as "a land of unwalled villages, whose inhabitants are at rest, and dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates; and possessed of silver and gold, cattle and goods, dwelling in the midst of the land" (Eze. 38:11-13). Now any person acquainted with the present insecure condition of Palestine under the Ottoman dominion must be satisfied from the testimony, that some other power friendly to Israel must then have become paramount over the land, which is able to guarantee protection to them, and to put the surrounding tribes in fear. This is all that is needed, namely, security for life and property, and Palestine would be as eligible for Jewish emigration as the United States have proved for the Gentiles. Elpis Israel, Page 455. Logos Ed.

  20. When Does Israel Dwell Safely? The meaning of the Hebrew word Betach depends on context “And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am Yahweh.” Ezekiel 39:6 In Contrast – “Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, YAHWEH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Jeremiah 23:5-6

  21. When Does Israel Dwell Safely? The meaning of the Hebrew word Betach depends on context “After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.” Ezekiel 39:26 In the Context of the Prophecy – Israel is sinful and in shame when they are in Safety!

  22. When Does Israel Dwell Safely? “Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.” Isaiah 54:4 “And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Yahweh your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.” Joel 2:27
