Advanced TPC Field Cage Design for High Voltage Readout and Drift Length Optimization

DESCRIPTION

This document presents the specifications and experimental setup of a Time Projection Chamber (TPC) featuring a maximum drift length of 260 mm and a typical high voltage cathode setting of -6 kV. The effective area of the readout plane is 100 mm × 100 mm, utilizing MWPC GEMs (3-stage) or MicroMEGAS. The setup includes 24 amplifiers with 16 channels each, digitized by 6 TPDs, with a 80 ns time slice. The inner diameter of the Jecee Magnet is 850 mm, supporting a 1 m effective length TPC for research at the LCWS06 conference in Bangalore, India.
