We will start with the reading test, then the math test and finally the Language Arts test. These results will be great for helping to guide my instruction in the first part of the school year. I will be sharing all of the results with you at conference time! We take our reading test this Tuesday. Please make sure that your child has a good night sleep and some breakfast before school on Tuesday. As part of your child's homework, they are expected to read 20 minutes every night. This can be with you, without you, out loud, silently, to a younger brother or sister, or completely independent. We have talked about choosing a book that is appropriate for them, but some students are better at this than others. Please be sure that they are reading books at home that are at their reading level and ask them questions about what they are reading to make sure they are understanding it. Our star of the week person for this coming week will be Riley K. Thank you very much for everything you do for your kids! If you have any questions for me please don’t hesitate to e-mail or call.
