10 th Grade Parent Night Student Registration

Join us for the 10th Grade Parent Night at North Hills Preparatory to learn about the upcoming course registration for 11th grade. Students will select eight courses for their schedule, including English, Social Studies, Science, Math, Foreign Language, and Electives. Meet our counseling team—Debbi Hargrove, Stephanie Wilson, Jakkia Hollingsworth, and Tony Walker—to get insights into the course offerings and registration timeline. Important dates and requirements will also be discussed. Mark your calendar for February 5th!

  6. Science (1.0 Credit) • 11th Grade • Physics • Physics Honors • AP Biology • AP Chemistry • Anatomy & Physiology* • Forensic Science* • *These new science courses can be taken for elective credit or for your 4th science credit

  11. End of Course Exams (EOCs) • Test Dates: • English (2 day test): April 3rd and 4th • The following subjects will be given within the May 6th-17th assessment window • Geometry, Algebra II • World History • Chemistry • More details will be provided once the days have be decided

Registration Schedule • Tuesday, February 5th: • 10th Grade Parent Night • Wednesday, February 12th & Tuesday, February 19th: • Academic Counselors will be in Mr. Pistor’s classroom giving an informational presentation. • Monday, February 25th & Tuesday, February 26th: • In class scheduling in Mr. Pistor’s classes. • Monday, March 4th – Friday, March 8th: • Course selection make up dates • May: • Course selection receipt will be mailed home, and at this point change can be made easily. • Once the course selections have been entered online, parents can log on to PowerSchool to view them.
