  6. 2. The Exalted King Gifts His Church (7-11) • How does the King empower His Church? • He gifts us and, in turn, gives us to the church. • You are the King’s gift to the church!

  7. 3. Gifted Leadersto Equip Gifted Members(11-12) • Gifted leaders enable gifted members to discover and develop their gifts. • We are bound to Christ and our fellow-members by our giftedness.

  8. 4. The Results of Teamwork (12-16) • The body will be built up! • Until we attain unity of faith and knowledge of the Son. • Maturity - - measured by the fullness of Christ. • Doctrinal stability. • Growth to our Head.

  9. Ephesians 4:16 “from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”

  10. We are the joints and ligaments through which God manifests His supernatural activity on earth.
