Timing and Event System

This document outlines the architecture and hardware setup for the timing and event system critical to the operation of undulator devices, including 34 cavity BPMs, 33 BLMs, and various timing racks and fanouts in Buildings 913 and 921. The new 119 MHz timing distribution system ensures high reliability and precision for synchronizing BPMs and MPS with the undulator link node chassis, while also detailing the arrival of MRF event system hardware. A breakout session is scheduled to discuss system availability and enhancements.
