DESCRIPTION
The Woodmen Road Corridor Improvement Project spans 12 miles in northern Colorado Springs, designed to enhance transportation efficiency. This extensive project is a collaboration between the City of Colorado Springs and El Paso County, with the Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) signed in early 2007. The total investment for the project is estimated at $200 million, including improvements at the Woodmen/Academy Interchange. The City has strategically divided the project into three phases to effectively manage and implement enhancements.
