Future X-Ray Observatory Development at University of Helsinki

University of Helsinki's involvement in ESA's X-ray Evolving Universe Spectroscopy Mission includes technology development for X-ray observations. Collaboration with international partners for TES microcalorimeter array and SQUID readout array. Detailed specifications/features of the NFI2/TES-based micro-calorimeter. Telescope and spacecraft features for XEUS, emphasizing changes in the orbital plan to L2-point. Focus on large-scale structure studies, galaxy growth, and black holes exploration in XEUS context.
