This project focuses on developing a Network-On-Chip based platform for rapid prototyping of Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems. The aim is to accelerate the development of SDR targeting 4G technologies and beyond, Smart Antennas, and Multi-media standards. The project involves a 4-year plan with NUST and KTH researchers collaborating to establish advanced SDR labs at NIIT and produce skilled manpower in the field of SoC/SoPC/ASIC design for RF communication.
