  9. Use the Navigation Tools • First, select the “Zoom In” tool • Draw a small box somewhere over Minnesota with your cursor • Continue to zoom until you can see green polygons and letters • At about what scale does this happen?

  10. Become Familiar with Layers • Open and close files • Select and deselect layers • Click on to make a layer active • Finish with “Digital Wetland Polygons” layer turned on and active

  12. Locate a Wetland by Coordinate • x = -93.72 • y = 44.905 • Select in the navigation bar and click on a wetland polygon on the map. • What happens?
