La domanda • Questa sequenza è tratta dal film Matrix (1999), la storia di un uomo che arriva a capire di essere stato per molti anni, insieme a tutta l’umanità, prigioniero di una macchina in grado di generare una straordinaria simulazione del mondo reale, ormai inesistente. Essa pone un interrogativo condiviso da molti filosofi di ogni epoca e di ogni parte del mondo: - la realtà che percepiamo quotidianamente esiste in modo assoluto, indipendente da noi oppure è un prodotto dell’attività dei nostri sensi e della nostra mente? - in questo senso, come facciamo a dire che il mondo dei sogni non è reale e quello veglia invece lo è? - cosa sarebbe il mondo se non ci fossero esseri umani a percepirlo?
