Applications Interest Group • Discussion regarding need/desirability of defining “supported platforms” for IVOA applications • Core set of browsers • Core set of software development environments • Core set of operating systems • Consensus: AIG should suggest modest suite of platforms and suggest that VO projects try to support their applications on them. Goal is to foster take-up of VO apps, avoid breakage when users alternate among tools (e.g., OSQ portal starts VOPlot)
