  2. Long Term Goals Help students prepare to meet 21st century challenges Train them to be useful and well behaved citizens

  3. Short Term Goals • Make my class more student centered • Work on media skills • Work on communication skills • Promote high order thinking in students • Develop students’ collaborative and interpersonal skills • Train students to be critical friends and good listeners

  4. Instructional strategies & Tasks • I will provide students more opportunities to work on activities and projects • After asking a critical question I will give enough time to think and jot down their ideas • Promote interfaith tolerance

  5. Challenges • Some other teachers and parents might disagree with this methodology • Students may become little confused at first

  6. Solutions • I will get the support of the Principal and have a meeting with the parents and convince them that new methodology will greatly help students in their learning. • To remove confusions I will wisely make groups clarify their confusions

  7. Timeline • In the first two months of the upcoming session I will consciously work to make my class more student centered. Moreover, I will also work on my multimedia skills at home. • In October I will work on communication and interaction skills. • In November I will work to promote high order thinking and develop the collaborative skills of students. • In December I will do the activities with students that will help them to be critical friends.
