This study examines the relationship between hurricane intensity and its effects on surface wind and sea-level pressure. Using observed data from satellites, floats, and coupled models, the study analyzes total surface heat flux and uncoupled/coupled atmos-wave-ocean dynamics. The findings correlate with observations from GPS and airborne turbulence probes, offering valuable insights into hurricane behavior.
