Electronic Drinking Water Reports (eDWR) Update for Alabama-Mississippi - May 2013
The eDWR system, governed by the AWWA and ADEM, streamlines the electronic reporting of drinking water data for water systems. Key features include the submission of microbiological and chemical data via web forms or XML uploads, alongside enhanced consumer confidence reports (CCRs). This system is currently in beta testing and will soon facilitate compliance for large, medium, and small water systems. With roles defined for lab and water system preparers and certifiers, this update outlines efficient data management, regulatory compliance, and the transition to electronic submissions.
