  2. HoosOnline: U.Va. Alumni Network • Visit the following website: https://hoosonline.virginia.edu/site/c.deIJLSOoGjF/b.3896633/k.BDEE/Home.htm?kntaw28934=3BE3F192D2C648FA9F15FD40052B775A • After “Not Registered?,” click on “Do It Now.” • Or click “Register” in the top right corner.

  3. On the next screen, click “No, I do not have a HoosOnline access code.” • After you register, you will be granted immediate guest access to some areas of the network. Once your identity as a postdoc has been verified, you will be granted full access to HoosOnline.

  4. HoosOnline Guest Registration • Follow the prompts on the registration screen. • Feel free to enter only the required info (some sections do not apply to postdocs). • At the prompt “I am…,” select “Post Doc/Research Associate.”

  5. Postdoctoral Programs will be contacted to verify your status. • Please allow a couple of days for this process to occur. Once it is completed, you will be granted full access to the HoosOnline network.

  6. Log in, then click on the “Career Resources” tab.Resources include… • UCAN (University Career Assistance Network): 23,000+ alumni who have offered to be career contacts (hoosonline.virginia.edu/UCAN) • Job listings (CAVLink, Careers at HoosOnline Network) • Informational Databases (CareerSearch, Going Global)
