  2. INTEGRITY • MEANING OF INTEGRITY • Integrity can be defined as the act of being honest and having good moral principles. • It can also be defined as being in good character. Standing for what is right and just. • It involves the exhibition of morally acceptable behaviour at all times. • EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE OF INTEGRITY • Examples of people of integrity are: • Chief ObafemiAwolowo • Dr. NnamdiAzikiwe • AlhajiTafawaBalewa • Bishop Samuel AjayiCrowther • Chinua Achebe • Prof. Wole Soyinka • Nelson Mandela

ATTRIBUTES OF A PERSON OF INTEGRITY • The following are some of the attributes of people of integrity. • Probity • Fair play • Honesty • Contentment • Truthfulness • Non- compromise of principles • IMPORTANCE OF HAVING PEOPLE OF INTEGRITY • The following are some the importance or needs for people of integrity. • Community development. • Peaceful co-existence. • Models for young ones or the upcoming generations. • Creating a society free of corruption and other social vices. • Promoting social justice and values appreciation.

  4. WORK TO DO List 3 people of integrity in our contemporary Nigeria with justifications or what qualifies them as being persons of integrity.
