  2. Long Term Goal • To apply 21st century teaching approaches.

  3. Short Term Goal • To change my directions and skills to increase understanding level of all the students especially the weaker ones. • To ask simple questions to develop critical thinking in students.

  4. Contd.. • Apply encouraging skills by giving them chance to make maps on the map directly.

  5. Instructional Strategies/Tasks • I will ask simple questions to motivate them and to bring them to the topic. • I will show power point presentations to arouse their interest.

  6. Challenges Solutions • Electricity problems • Discipline problem when working in groups. • Hand outs of lectures to be brought. • To give them incentive in the form of prize

  7. Time line : 45 minutes • 10 minutes: To focus on directing skills. • 20 minutes: For emphasizing on questioning skills. • 30 minutes: Focus on encouragement rather than praising. • 21st century approaches will be applied in my class.

  8. Resources • Guidance from seniors • Internet • Course book-chapter 10 • Power point presentations of lesson exercises.
