  1. Wind energy ByTodorandZach D

  2. The history of wind energy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niZ_cvu9Fts • The first wind mill Wind power doubled from 2006-2011 but non-reusable power only increased by 12% Wind power has been used as long as humans have put sails into the wind. Wind-powered machines was used to ground grain and pump water. Wind-powered pumps drained the polders of the Netherlands, and in arid regions such as the American mid-west or the Australian outback, wind pumps provided water for live stock and steam engines. A wind turbine is as loud as 105% lawn mover, 90% blender, 80% vacuum, 50% micro wave and 40% refrigerator

  3. How wind energy works • Wind energy works by wind turbines that turn a motor to create energy. Turbine blades can swivel to speed up, to slow down or to stop. The turbine can rotate depending where the wind is blowing most. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azp3PqnTpn0

  4. Good things about wind power • Wind power is going to be here as long as man lives on earth. • Wind is a renewable energy source . • It’s a clean power source. • Small turbines are used to power boats , traffic lights and batteries

  5. The bad things about wind energy • This takes up land and resources • Wind turbines make a lot of NOSIE • Birds crash into the blades and can die • They can damage the environment • They can shut down and stop producing energy

  6. THANKS FOR WAtchING!!!!! [or a PANDA!!!!!]
