ORA – What we do • Pre-Award • Assist in finding funding opportunities • Advise on proposal development • Prepare budgets according to sponsor & CCNY guidelines • Provide institutional authorization • Submit proposals (now mostly online) • Post-Award • Record, track and report grant funding received • Coordinate research compliance • Institutional Review Board (IRB) for human subjects • Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) • Serve as on-site liaison for RF CUNY (our fiscal agent)
