  3. Plants and animals Some animals in my park include: .black bears .fox squirrels .white tail deer .elks .bobcat .brook trout This is a dogwood flower in my park it blossoms in the late spring rain.

  4. Issues facing the park • This way to history .Air pollution .power plants and industries .choke off view and Poison plants .foul the water This is a picture of my park. It has been invaded by balsam woolly adelgid insects .

History • People have lived in the mountains since the cave men • The Cherokee Indians were moved in 1830 to Oklahoma • The president then was Franklin.D.Roosevelt the 32nd president • The Great Smokies was founded in 1934 • Settlers first arrived in the 1700's • Charles. A.Webb, Jim Thompson, Mark Squires, Ben Mortor,George Masa Horace Hephart, Paul Fink, Ann Davis, and David Chapman.

  7. Conclusion This is why my park, Great Smoky Mountain, should be preserved. The first reason is for its natural beauty and all the plants and animals in it. Also, is should be preserved because of all the great activities in my park. That is why it should be preserved.
