What is Earned Value Scheduling? • “Earned Schedule (ES) is a breakthrough analytical technique that resolves the EVM dilemma. It is derived from and is an extension to EVM. No additional data is needed for acquiring the ES measures; only the data from EVM is needed. In contrast to the cost-based indicators from EVM, the ES schedule performance indicators are time-based, making them easier to comprehend. The ES indicators provide a status and predictive ability for schedule, analogous to the facility for cost using EVM. “

I am truly excited by Supertech’s release of their newest project control software, EVengine 6.6. This new product has incorporated the capability provided by the Earned Schedule extension to EVM. The addition, in my opinion, significantly enhances the already unique capability and utility of EVengine for controlling project cost and financial performance. Now with Earned Schedule, EVengine 6.6 provides the much needed suite of measures, indicators, and predictors for the management of schedule. This product is possibly the most complete project management control software available. Walt Lipke Creator of Earned Schedule For details on Earned Schedule www.earnedschedule.com
