Maths Weekend. 20 th – 22 nd June 2008. Our home for the weekend. The weather is delightful. Maybe sweets will cheer things up. Or a nice game of chess. A crowd gathers, cheering Joe on. But Mrs Tabor’s chess skills prove too strong. An indoor investigation, halving the square.

  7. But Mrs Tabor’s chess skills prove too strong

  8. An indoor investigation, halving the square

  9. Mr Page has never worked so hard…

  10. And the resulting posters are a source of admiration

  11. A birthday!

  12. A cake!

  14. Musical Numbers before Bed

  15. After a nice early night, it’s Pre-Breakfast Games at 7:30am

  16. Everyone wants the same clue in the Treasure Hunt!

  17. Point at their toes!

  18. Loci with cubes is very pretty, but it’ll get even better later!

  19. Off with their heads! Students battle to save Sid the Stable Boy

  20. The Apprentice, Maths Weekend Tuck Shop Style (Go Team Alpha!)

  21. Setting off on the Ten Mile Hike, (honest)

  22. We make the precarious descent to the beach

  23. To hunt fossils

  24. And investigate the wildlife

  25. The Wellsway ammonite logo is everywhere!

  26. Are we lost? George helps Mr Page find the way

  27. We finally make it to the ice-cream shop. Mmm, toffee fudge

  28. We’re back from the Ten Mile Hike, it must be time for….

  29. …a nice cup of tea!

  30. Chilling out to some music at the coolest cabin at Kilve Court

  31. Until it’s time for dinner

  32. Check out the boys’ basketball skills

  33. And the equally impressive groovy dance moves…Don’t Stop Me Now!

  34. Who is the Sprouts Master?

  35. The world famous Crystal Maze…. don’t get locked in!

  36. Collect the Evens while avoiding the evil Odds

  37. Loci in the dark…and rain!

  39. Mr Page sings us the lullaby he wrote for us…. beautiful

  40. Who needs Nintendo when you can play the Adventure Game for real?

  41. Run away! It’s the Nasty Guards!
