Analysis of Fatty Acid Methyl Esters in Seed Triacylglycerols of WT and Ds Segregants

This figure presents the comparison of fatty acid methyl esters found in seed triacylglycerols for a wild-type segregant (WT Segregant) and a transposon-tagged line (Ds 15-1699-1). Data includes error bars indicating standard deviations derived from four biological replicates, each involving 20 seeds. Statistically significant differences, determined by Student's t-test (P < 0.01), are marked by asterisks. Significant changes include decreases of approximately 18% for 18:1 and 13% for 18:3 fatty acids, and an increase of about 23% for 18:2 fatty acid.

Error bars represent standard deviations for 4 biological replicates (each replicate consisted of 20 seeds). Statistically significant differences (student’s t-test, P < 0.01) between mutant and WT are marked by an asterisk. Approximately 18% and 13% decreases were observed for 18:1 and 18:3 and an ~23% increase was observed for 18:2.
