Analysis not synopsis • The issue in every case is “what to do” • Analyze in context of the first four chapters • Identify the components (markets, management, economics, industry, competitors) which have influenced the problems and possibly the outcomes • What are the risks! • Mitigations? • DSIR is key to many eCommerce ventures

  3. Success or not • You have the advantage of 20/20 hindsight • Try to determine what should have happened • Then check to see what did happen • Use these case as an opportunity to sharpen your management skills • Use all that you have learn so far including other courses

  4. Presentations • Add some punch • Graphics • Quotes • I want 40 minutes! • 40 slides ?? • Make sure you can field questions on the fly • Be very comfortable with what is in the text • Suggestions • As you read the text make notes to yourself about sections that puzzled and confused you…chances are that is what you will be questioned about

  5. General comments • STAKEholders not STOCKholders • Do some research beyond the text • Each case should take between 10-15 hours to prepare • Make sure you are comfortable with all the cases not just the one you are presenting. • QUESTION the presenter
