Analysis of Energy Balance in Di-Jet Events Using Pythia and qPythia at 5.5 TeV

This study investigates the energy balance in di-jet events from Pythia and qPythia simulations at a center-of-mass energy of 5.5 TeV. We analyze the width and peak position of energy distributions for different quenching parameters (qhat = 0 and 50 GeV²/fm) while considering various transverse energy thresholds (Et_jet1). The correlation between L1-L2 energy balances and di-jet energy distributions is explored, emphasizing regions of positive and negative energy balance and their respective color-coded representations.
