Goals and Objectives • Work towards finalizing the DOE Technical Standard • Pilot and refine the “Graded Approach for Evaluating Radiation Doses to Aquatic and Terrestrial Biota” (for distribution in Fall 1999) • Share information on requirements and guidance for protection of biota - and learn from each other • site-specific biota dose assessment needs • ongoing methods and database development • lessons learned from existing methods implementation • international initiatives • radioecological research • Focus on issues and create a path forward
