  1. Turning coins Year 7 Aim: To find out if big hands are faster than smaller hands at turning over two pence coins. Objectives: To measure the span of the writing hand and the other hand and repeat the original experiment. To draw a scatter graph using the data.

  2. Turning coins Measure your handspan from to the top of your little finger to the top of your thumb.

  3. Turning coins Turn the coins over one by one, with only one hand, the writing hand to begin with. Make sure you go back to the beginning of the row after turning ten coins, and don’t work your way back.

  4. Turning coins Remember to record your results on your personal worksheets.
