  4. Read174 through 180 silently. • What conflict at the beginning of No More Dead Dogs launched the action of the story? Was this an external or internal conflict? • In the course of the story, Rachel changes her opinion of Wallace. What does she think about him when she first meets him? Briefly tell what leads her to change her opinion of Wallace. • Would you say that Trudi is a static character or a dynamic character? Explain your answer. • When Rachel finds our who is responsible for the attacks on the play, she is angry at her brother. How does she deal with this conflict? What can you conclude about Rachel from the way she handles this conflict? • By the end of this story, what do you think Wallace has learned about himself or about others? Has his outlook changed since the beginning of the story? Explain how Wallace has changed. • At the end of the story, the author leaves room for the reader to imagine what might happen next. Now that you know these characters, what do you predict will happen to Wallace, Rachel, Trudi and Cavanaugh in the coming weeks?
