    1. PERRYSBURG WRESTLING CLUB (PBWC) Field House Proposal November, 2009

    2. Field House Proposal The WHAT? We propose to build a 10,800 sq. ft. steel frame construction building to be located adjacent to restrooms at the football field at the Jr. High. The building would include an open area for four wrestling mats. This would accommodate in-season wrestling for the Biddy program. It would be used to host off-season conditioning and open mat wrestling for the Jr. High and Varsity programs. This would also eliminate the need to transport Jr. High wrestlers to PHS for practice.

    3. Field House Proposal An area would also be allocated to accommodate future locker rooms for home and visiting football games as well as soccer, track, tennis, baseball, and lacrosse teams. A separate Spirit Room room with exterior roll up windows facing the stadium would also be allocated for selling and storage of spirit gear. Lastly, an area for a coaches room / conference room would also be allocated between the locker rooms and spirit room.

    10. Field House Location

    11. Field House Proposal The HOW? Phase 1 would entail the exterior construction and enclosure, interior heating, lighting, and concrete floor. This is best described as the shell. Phase two would encompass the locker rooms and office area. The Sprit Room could be constructed at such time as the Boosters determine.

    12. Field House Proposal The WHEN? PBWC is currently focused on a fund raising plan for 2009-10 to ensure a commitment to a five year contribution plan. Our goal is to begin Phase 1 construction in the spring of 2010 and conclude in August, 2010. Phase 2 would begin as soon as funds are made available.

    13. Field House Proposal Current PBWC fund raising projects for 2009/10 include: Northwest Ohio Youth Football Challenge tournament being held Nov. 7 & 8, 2009. The Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Edinboro dual wrestling meet being held at PHS on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009 Annual Biddy Pit wrestling tournament Jan. 17, 2010 held at PHS. BIG 10 10 team Biddy dual meet tournament to be held on March 7, 2010

    14. Field House Proposal The HOW MUCH? Phase 1 construction has been estimated at $185,000. Phase 2 construction is still being analyzed. Spirit Room construction has not been assessed at this time. Were hoping the Boosters will kick in $100k just kidding (unless you can)!

    15. Field House Proposal The current plan is for a PBWC Board Officer to secure a 15 year loan for Phase 1 construction and personally guarantee this loan. . PBWC plans (subject to this years fund raising goal) to contribute $10,000 per year, for the next five years towards this loan. The Board Officer will contribute an additional amount for five years to this loan. This amount is yet to be determined, at this time.

    16. Field House Proposal PBWC hopes to secure additional financial commitment through a combination of Boosters and the Athletic Department support towards this project. A separate Field House Fund is being established by Ray Pohlman for all fund raising dollars to be held in.

    17. Field House Proposal Steps to begin: Secure support of concept with Athletic Department and Ray Pohlman. Make proposal to Boosters. Continue fund raising plan to secure PBWC Board commitment to annual contribution amount. Finalize design plans and submit to School Board.
