  3. In a persuasive research essay you have 2 main jobs:

  4. 1) Convince the reader your opinion is right!

  5. 2) Convince the reader that apposing opinions are not as right as yours or simply wrong

  6. In order to do this stating only your opinion is simply not good enough

  7. Therefore you must include evidence

  8. There are 3 main types of evidence for a persuasive research paper • Statistics • Expert opinion (Quote) • Examples

  9. Create a T-Chart

  10. Record the Statistics, Expert Opinions & Examples that you hear and see in this video in your T-chart

  11. Homework There will be an upcoming test on the elements of a persuasive essay. The test will likely by on Sunday next week.
