The Greenville Central School District is committed to improving student achievement in English Language Arts (ELA) through comprehensive professional development, curriculum mapping, and data analysis. Our programs are designed to enhance literacy and 21st-century skills for students in grades 3-8, with a strong focus on effective data-driven instruction. We compare student performance data from 2007-2008 to 2008-2009 to identify strengths and weaknesses, aiming for progress towards the Effective Annual Measurable Objective (AMO) of 200 by 2014. Our collaborative efforts include the Quality Education Committee and various workshops to promote continuous improvement in teaching practices.
