Contaminated soil was safely excavated and placed in a secure landfill. It also discusses the establishment of groundwater and soil quality standards, including the regulation of VOCs, heavy metals, and pesticides, and ongoing efforts to finalize soil quality standards and develop contaminated site management guidelines.
