  2. Long Beautiful, gleaming, steaming, flaxen, waxen….I adore hair! –James Rado and Gerome Ragni, Hair. I really do adore hair because I am always trying new things to my hair and I always take care of my hair. I got interested in my hair by my self. I have always loved doing my hair and even other peoples hair since I was little. I will be searching the six topic areas. Introduction

  3. Inspect hair, face, scalp, to recommend treatment. • Discuss hair style options • Wash, color, and condition hair • Cut, dry, and style hair • Receive payments from clients • Clean and sanitize all tools and work areas Nature of Work

Physical: you need to have strength to stay on your feet all day. • Mental: you need to remember all the different kinds of styles, colors, and how to cut the hair. • Indoor: you would have all the right materials and work space. • Hours: part time, some self employed workers may have long hour schedules include evenings and weekend. When the beauty salons are busiest and self employed determine their own schedule. Working Conditions

You need high school diploma • State licensed barber or cosmetology school • Full time programs in cosmetology usually last at least 9 months and may lead into an associates degree • Most workers will take advanced courses to keep up with the latest trends • If you want to open your own business you may need to take courses in sales and marketing • I will work somewhere in St. Clair shores • I will also go to beauty school Training, Qualifications, Education

Responsibilities: Bathe animals, trim nails, clip hair, and attend to other grooming needs • Degree Required: high school diploma • Job outlook: Employment Rate 15% and its rising • Medium Earning: $19,690 • Why I chose it: I chose this job for a back up because I love animals and taking care of them!   9. I am still interested in going into cosmetology. I don’t care how much the job pays, I will be doing the job I love. The one thing I look forward is cutting, drying, and coloring hair. The least thing about the job would be the cleaning up and sanitizing the tools because its not as fun as cutting or coloring or even styling the hair. I learned I only need a high school diploma and a state licensed from beauty school. Conclusion
