Bottles/Cans/Glass/Cartons • Please rinse/empty! • Includes: • Plastic bottles, tubs, jugs, & jars • Pop & tin cans • Glass bottles & jars • Gable-top cartons, rectangular cartons
Mixed Paper • Staples, paperclips, & tape OK • No cardboard • Includes: • White or color paper • Newspaper • Magazines • Paperboard • Books/Notebooks
Confidential Shredding • We offer confidential material destruction & recycling • Material is collected in locked bins and shredded on campus
Cardboard • Flatten & place in outdoor cardboard cages • Do not place in paper bagstands
Computers & Electronic Media • Place in bag/box marked “recycle” and put next to regularly serviced bin • Includes: • CDs • Cassette tapes • Floppy disks • VHS tapes • Electronics (e.g. computers) are collected by Surplus

Event Services • Campus Recycling can provide recycling and compost collection at your OSU event, free of charge! • Recycling station attendants are recommended for large events; we may be able to provide volunteers • Contact us for additional advice on how to have a low or zero waste event!
Composting • Kitchen prep (“pre-consumer”) waste has been collected from dining centers for a few years • Pilot program is starting in Marketplace West to begin sorting out compostables from tray returns (“post-consumer”) • Campus Recycling offers event compost collection at campus events (Free!)
Surplus Property • Reduces campus waste by selling unwanted items to campus, governments (e.g. schools), nonprofits, & the public • ~36 contributing agencies include: • Corvallis Police Dept. • University of Oregon • City of Corvallis • Benton County More information at http://surplus.oregonstate.edu
Surplus Property • Lab equipment sold online • Free supplies exchange for OSU depts. • Weekly public sales typically include furniture, computers, equipment and vehicles • Past sales have included turkeys, pontoon boats, houses, you name it! More information at http://surplus.oregonstate.edu

Wood/Pallets • Request pickup • Includes scrap wood & pallets
Landscape Debris • Landscape debris are ground up & used as mulch on campus
