Follow all district and campus codes of conduct • Be alcohol and drug free • Attend school regularly and be on time for all activities • Maintain confidentiality in all PAL matters • Be a positive role model at all times • Show respect for him/herself and others • Make responsible decisions and accept the consequences of those decisions An AISD PAL is expected to

Be willing to volunteer time outside of PAL class and for PAL activities and projects • Be mindful of others’ safety • Solve problems as individuals and as part of a group • Be honest, caring, supportive, and encouraging • Be flexible and a good time manager • Foster trust and open communication • Maintain passing grades in all classes An AISD PAL is expected to

  4. I have read and understand the expectations for AISD PALs. I will live up to these expectations if selected as a PAL, and I understand that failure to meet these expectations will result in disciplinary action by the PAL Advisory Committee including possible dismissal and removal from the program.   5. Absence from a mandatory event • Unexcused absences, especially on traveling days • Excessive complaints from teachers or peers • Disciplinary referrals • Citations from police • Failing classes • Intentional deception Probation- Discretionary

  6. Drugs/alcohol at school or school event • Fighting, weapons • Bullying- referral • Citation or arrest- Discretionary • Inappropriate relationship with PALee Removal

  7. Consequences may vary at the discretion of the PAL sponsor in conjunction with the administration of AHS • When in doubt, come talk about it. Trying to hide something could result in removal instead of probation. Addendum
