  6. Responsible Party Sunrise Medical • The company contacted their customers by phone and mailed notification letters on May 1, 2007. • Consumers should contact their dealers about the installation of the upgrade kit.

  7. Litigation/Lawsuits • No evidence of any litigation because product was recalled and an upgrade kit to fix the problem was provided. • Products were mentioned as recalled medical devices by the Kreisman Law Offices in Chicago in an attempt to solicit clients to file possible lawsuits.
