  1. New to Hoover School Parent Orientation

  2. Who’s Who? • Maura Conlan – Administrative Assistant – “Go To Person” • Kristen Aiello – School Nurse • Mike Mackey – Custodian • - Chartwells Lunch Person

  3. Arrival • Students enter courtyard doors between 8:05-8:15

  4. Students who arrive after 8:15 are tardy • Excused Absence = student is sick; call absence line and send in a note • Unexcused Absence = student isn’t; call absence line or let teacher know in advance; no work may be made up including homework/exams • Early Dismissal = send in a note to teacher

  5. Dismissal • School day ends at 2:22 • All students exit the building via courtyard doors • K-2 students = dismissed by staff • 3-5 students = not dismissed by staff
