  1. Things you must know about soil testing and soil health Like Industries, agriculture is the most pivotal aspect of human life. Through Agriculture, we get the food we eat and Agriculture is dependent on the health and overall nutritional value of soil thus soil testing is vital. An organic soil test kit will help you get the right details related to soil health & its composition. What is soil testing? In common terms, a soil test is a test to measure the overall health and current fertility status of the soil. Inexpensive in nature and gives you a great idea about the overall health of your soil. So, there is a question: how often should you do a soil test? What are the benefits of a soil test? To answer these questions, you need to learn first about the soil testing process. Firstly know that most soil nutrients are already found in the soil with pH levels of 6 to 6.5. However, when the pH level rises, nutrients (like phosphorus, iron, manganese, etc.) may become less available and they even reach toxic levels, which can affect the plants. Thus a soil test is important. Benefits of soil testing An organic soil test will help you to know the nutrient issues of soil and the status of the health of your soil. After testing you may get to know that there's no need for fertilizers, as it isn't necessary as your soil is healthy with all needed nutritive value. With a soil test, you’ll create a healthy soil environment that will lead to maximum production and plant growth. As mentioned earlier An organic soil test can determine the current status of fertility and the overall health of your soil. You can find it by measuring both the pH level and nutrient deficiencies, a soil test can provide the vital information which is necessary for optimum production. There are many methods to test the soil. Traditional one andorganic soil test. Scientifically there are 6 soil tests. 1. Specific Gravity It is a test against the density of water. To check whether the soil is sinking or swimming. 2. Dry Density It is a test of density when the soil is dry. When you will do this test you will be able to know about the density of the soil. 3. Atterberg Limits

  2. Fine-grained soils’ plastic limits and liquid limits are tested in this test. Just do the simple research and you will be able to do this test easily. 4. Proctor’s Compaction It is a long process to get very specific water content in the soil, in a specific volume. 5. Moisture Content It is a test that is done multiple times as part of multiple tests. It is performed to check the moisture in the soil. 6. Foundation testing This is the last-minute testing. It is the most important test. To check the foundation of the soil. Conclusion: - At the end of the content, everyone must have got some details related to the soil test. So test your soil and know the health of your soil and optimize your production.
