Comprehensive Flow Cytometry Training Program by The Cytometry Society of India

Join the Flow Cytometry Training Program organized by The Cytometry Society of India from January 21-24, 2008, at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore. This 4-day course will cover the basics of flow cytometry, including optics, fluidics, electronics, signal collection, and data analysis. Participants will gain hands-on experience operating an analytical cytometer and learn techniques such as DNA cell cycle analysis and immunocytometry (CD3/CD4/CD8/CD45). A test and viva will conclude the course. Limited seats available.

The Cytometry Society INDIA Flow Cytometry Training Program - 2008 The Cytometry Society of India offers a flow cytometry training course that includes basics of flow cytometry, hands-on operation and any specific technique that participants wants to learn. Basics will cover optics, fluidics, electronics, signal collection, linear/log amplification, color compensation, data analysis. Hands-on will include the operation of an analytical cytometer. Participants will be trained to perform DNA cell cycle analysis, Immunocytometry of CD3/CD4/CD8/CD45 and live cell function assays. At the end of the course all the candidates should write a test followed by viva conducted by one of the experts. The duration of course is 4 days. Place:National Centre for Biological Sciences, TIFR, Bangalore Course Dates: Jan 21st to 24th 2008. All the participants should become members of TCS.
