AIS Experience in Economic and Social Impact Tools • AIS developed the methodology to estimate the multi-dimensional “Alide Index”. • Evaluate the performance of Development Banks in Latin America. • Measures the economic impact and performance evaluation of those FI. • Tested in Institutions in Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Brazil and Costa Rica. • Carried out between 2006 and 2007, financed by the IADB and its results published by ALIDE (Asociación Latinoamericana de Instituciones Financieras para el Desarrollo) in December 2007. • AIS has also estimated the economic and social impact, (direct, indirect and induced) for the investment of the 46 Spanish Savings Banks, federated under the “CECA” (Confederación Española de Cajas de Ahorro). The methodology was published in 2005 by CECA “Valoración del Impacto de la Obra Social”. • From 2000 to 2004, AIS has developed and implemented the credit risk control systems for FI in Mexico (NAFIN SA, Financiera Rural and BANSEFI). These projects where financed and supervised by IADB or the World Bank.
