  2. Who are our JRSO’s? • Hannah Baird (Year 6) • Zak Ware (Year 6) • Sophie King (Year 6) • Dylan Nelson (Year 6) • Lola Burns (Year 5) • Alana Jayne Ewen (Year 5) We also have some keen assistants… • Riley Macklin (Year 6) • Alfie Moran (Year 5) Don’t forget Mrs Bottriell out JRSO co-ordinator!

  3. Gomer Junior School Our school has a friendly welcoming atmosphere for its 240 children (and parents). 41% of our children are from out of catchment. Children travel to school by walking, cycling, car or taxi. We want EVERYONE to travel to school safely.

  4. What have the JRSO’s done so far… Since joining the JRSO scheme 2 years ago we have achieved many things… • Spoken to governors to introduce the scheme and talk about car park safety • Played a part in securing the car park (and our children) • Patrolled the gate and the zig zag lines • Lead assemblies, including The Green Cross Code and Be Bright Be Seen • Held a quizdom competition with each class • Slogan and banner competitions • Created our own page on the school website • Taken part in national events like walk to school week • Produce termly newsletter • Attended parents evenings

  5. We have also joined forces with the Bikeit! Crew. We worked together with Mrs Bottriell and our Head Teacher, spoke to the governors and FROGJS about funding for a new bike shelter. Look what we got!
