  2. Thousands of people are rallying in Lower Manhattan against bank Bailouts, Corporate greed, and the unchecked power of Wall Street in Washington. It has now been a month since the start of the protest.

  3. There are people protesting all over the world, there has been over 1,500 protests in 82 countries this past Saturday. And there is an Occupy rally going on in various states.

  4. The protestors use the slogan “ We are the 99% “. It is a reference to the difference in wealth between the top 1% and all the remaining citizens of theUnited States.

  5. Some people feel financial institutions are not acting in the best interests of the American people and are contributing to economic woes.

  6. Others feel the protesters are blaming the wrong people. There have been hundreds of arrests an police have not been acting their best.
